Undergraduate Transcript
During my undergraduate career at the University of Arizona, I took a variety of courses in the discipline of History. The topics of these course ranged from an overview of the Ottoman Empire to an analysis of Mexican history through film. My minor in Philosophy also allowed for great insight into how ideas shaped and moved history. These experiences in college have given me a broader and more complete view of history. I will utilize this knowledge and perspective when teaching World and American History to my students. I feel it is important for students to be engaged and interact with multiple ideas and viewpoints. These diverse ideas and views will allow for higher level thinking and a more globally minded student (InTASC Standard 4: j, k, l, and p).
